Competition Terms & Conditions

The promoter of this competition is Behind The Gloves Limited ("BTG", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. You can contact us at info@btg-boxing.com.

By entering, you accept these Terms, our Competition Rules, and our Privacy Policy. Please don't enter if you don't agree with them.

7th Punch is a prize competition of skill and judgement connected to Midnight Mayhem, a charity boxing event taking place on 19 January 2027 at La Paloma, Barcelona, Spain. Entrants predict the result of each scored bout on the fight card, and the highest-scoring entrants win the prizes listed in section 9.

This competition is intended and structured as a skill-based prize promotion. It is not gambling, betting, a lottery or a game of chance, no stake is wagered, no prize is funded by entry payments, and no gambling licence applies. [COUNSEL TO CONFIRM THIS STATEMENT AND ITS WORDING]

3.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 or over at the time of entry.

3.2 The competition is void where prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to make sure that entering is lawful where you live. If it isn't, you must not enter, and any entry you make is invalid.

3.3 One entry per person, by any route. Additional entries, shared accounts, automated entries and entries made on behalf of someone else are invalid and may be disqualified.

3.4 The following people may enter for fun but are not eligible to win prizes: directors, employees and contractors of BTG; the boxers on the Midnight Mayhem card and their cornermen and coaches; referees, judges and officials of the event; and members of the same household as any of those people. If a person in this list finishes in a prize position, the prize passes to the next eligible entrant.

There are two entry routes with identical prize eligibility:

4.1 Donation Entry. Pay €5.50 at pickem.btg-boxing.com, made up of a €5.00 donation to the charitable cause described in section 5 and a €0.50 contribution toward payment processing. Payment is taken by our payment processor, Stripe, and will appear on your statement as BTG 7THPUNCH.

4.2 Free Entry. Enter without payment at pickem.btg-boxing.com/free-entry. Free entries have exactly the same chance of winning and the same prize eligibility as Donation Entries. No payment is necessary to enter or win.

4.3 To enter by either route you must create an account with a valid email address you control, provide the requested details, and confirm acceptance of these Terms. Your entry is complete when your account shows "You're on the card".

5.1 [CHOOSE ONE] (A) The €5.00 donation element of every Donation Entry is paid in full to [CHARITY NAME], registered charity number [CHARITY NUMBER]. (B) The €5.00 donation element of every Donation Entry is shared equally between the charities nominated by the Midnight Mayhem fighters, as listed at go.btg-boxing.com/midnight-mayhem-2027-bouts.

5.2 For every €5.50 Donation Entry, €5.00 goes to the charitable cause above and €0.50 covers payment processing costs. BTG does not retain any part of the entry payment. [CONFIRM: REQUIRED TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT — COMMERCIAL PARTICIPATOR REQUIREMENTS]

5.3 The donation is a gift to the charitable cause. It is not a stake, and it does not buy a chance to win: prizes are fixed, donated items whose availability does not depend on the number or value of entries.

6.1 For each scored bout on the card you may pick one of three results: the blue corner fighter wins, the red corner fighter wins, or a draw. The opening showcase bout is displayed but not scored.

6.2 You can change your picks as often as you like until the competition locks at 20:00 CET on 18 January 2027 [CONFIRM FINAL LOCK TIME] ("the Lock"). After the Lock, picks cannot be changed except as set out in section 7.

6.3 You do not have to pick every bout. Unpicked bouts simply score zero points.

7.1 White-collar charity boxing cards change. If a fighter is replaced before or after the Lock, all picks for that bout are reset for all entrants, and entrants will be invited to re-pick that bout within a stated window. Bouts may also be added, removed, reordered or declared void at the event organiser's discretion.

7.2 If a scored bout does not take place, or is declared void by us, it is excluded from scoring for all entrants.

7.3 If the event is postponed, entries and picks carry over to the rescheduled date and a new Lock time will be announced. If the event is not rescheduled within 90 days, it is treated as cancelled under section 11.

8.1 Scoring is applied in three layers per scored, non-void bout: 3 points for a correctly predicted winner, or 5 points for a correctly predicted draw; then, where the winner is correct, a further 2 points for correctly predicting the bout ends on points or 3 points for correctly predicting a stoppage; then a further 4 points for correctly predicting the round of a stoppage. If the predicted winner is incorrect, that bout scores zero regardless of any method or round prediction. A 15-point bonus applies for correctly predicting the winner of every scored, non-void bout.

8.1a The Night Call is an optional single prediction of how many scored, non-void bouts end inside the distance: 6 points for an exact prediction and 3 points where the prediction is within one of the actual figure. The Night Call cannot deduct points.

8.1b Scoring values are fixed once the first entry becomes active and are not altered thereafter.

8.2 Ties are broken in this order: (1) the entrant whose picks were last saved earliest ranks higher — every time you save changes, your tiebreak time resets to that moment; (2) if still tied, the earlier-created account ranks higher.

8.3 Official results are determined by the event's officials and entered by BTG within 24 hours of the end of the event. BTG may correct manifest errors in entered results or standings within 48 hours of first publication. Subject to that, BTG's determination of results, scores and standings is final, and no correspondence will be entered into except where required by law.

9.1 Prizes are as stated: non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and there is no cash alternative. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

9.2 Winners will be notified by email to their registered address within 7 days of results publication and must respond, confirm eligibility and provide a delivery address within 14 days of notification. If a winner does not respond in time, cannot be verified, or is ineligible, the prize passes to the next-ranked eligible entrant.

9.3 We may ask winners for reasonable proof of identity, age and eligibility before dispatching a prize.

9.4 Prizes are shipped worldwide at BTG's cost within 30 days of confirmation of the winner's details. Any customs duties, import taxes or local charges in the destination country are the winner's responsibility.

10.1 You may request a refund of your €5.50 Donation Entry at any time up to the earlier of (a) the Lock, or (b) 14 days after your entry, by emailing info@btg-boxing.com from your registered address. 10.2 After the Lock, entries cannot be refunded or cancelled except under section 11.

If Midnight Mayhem is cancelled and not rescheduled under section 7.3, the competition is cancelled, all Donation Entries will be refunded in full (€5.50) to the original payment method within 14 days, and no prizes will be awarded.

12.1 We may disqualify any entry, withhold any prize and/or close any account where we reasonably believe there has been: multiple or automated entry; entry by an ineligible person; tampering with the platform; any attempt to influence the outcome of any bout; or any breach of these Terms.

12.2 You must not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the platform.

13.1 The competition includes a public leaderboard. Your chosen display name and the company name you provide will be visible to anyone on the standings pages and on screens at the event. You can edit your display name in your account at any time.

13.2 We may announce the winners (display name and company) on the standings pages, at the event, and on BTG's channels. Any use of a winner's real full name, photograph or likeness in marketing beyond this will only happen with their separate consent.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these Terms.

15.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

15.2 Subject to 15.1, BTG is not liable for: entries, picks or emails that are lost, delayed or not received (including sign-in or notification emails caught by filters); network, device or platform unavailability; events outside our reasonable control; or any loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms. The platform is provided free of charge or for a €5.50 charitable entry, and subject to 15.1 our total liability to any entrant is limited to €5.50.

15.3 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Mike Tyson, any fighter's employer or sponsor, or any venue, except as expressly stated.

16.1 We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the card, schedule or law. Material changes will be notified by email to entrants and/or a prominent notice on the platform. Changes will not reduce the prizes or materially disadvantage existing entries except where required by law or event circumstances described in sections 7 and 11.

16.2 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. These Terms are personal to you and cannot be assigned. A person who is not you or BTG has no rights to enforce these Terms.

16.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident in the EU or elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections, and may bring proceedings in, the country where you live.
